Looking forward to his arrival in Rio de Janeiro and at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, American Kyle Lamonte finally met his newest teammates.

Flamengo's basketball team was surprised this Friday morning (20.08) when they received a visit from Lamonte, better known as Black Cobra Lamonte, who attended training at Marina Barra Clube accompanied by his wife and children.

Completely at ease, Lamonte relied on Baby's resourcefulness to be the interpreter, since he still doesn't speak Portuguese.

"I'm really looking forward to starting to play. I came here to contribute and to play, no matter what position," he declared.

PRESS CONFERENCE

Next Monday, Kyle Lamonte will be officially introduced at a press conference, scheduled for 15 p.m. in the Rogério Steinberg Auditorium at the club's headquarters. Newly signed players Baby and Guto will also be present at the press conference.
Then, at 17 pm, the three players will join the rest of the squad who will train at the Hélio Maurício gym, in Gávea.
