On the debut night of the new adidas basketball jersey, Flamengo defeated São José 73-66 in overtime this Monday (24.06). The game was valid for subgroup 1 and took place in São Sebastião do Paraíso, Minas Gerais. Flamengo's Diego Marques was the game's top scorer with 24 points, alongside Chandler, from São José. The red-and-black number 12 completed his double-double with 13 rebounds.

"We always struggled a bit in the first LDB games due to a lack of team spirit. As the game progressed, we improved, gelled, and we managed to win. We made a few mistakes, but we kept our heads in the game to get a draw in regulation and a win in extra time," said Diego. This is his third time playing in the LDB with the red-and-black jersey.
