Current champion of the Basketball Development League (LDB), Flamengo under-22 started the fourth stage of the tournament with a solid victory against Tittãs/SEST/SENAT (PR), this Sunday (15.02), at Arena Minas, in Belo Horizonte, by 91 to 55. The red-black pivot Cristiano Felício was one of the highlights with 27 points and 16 rebounds:

"We came here looking to qualify and wanting to win every game. In this first game, we weren't good in the first half, but in the second we came back scoring better and managed to come away with the victory. I'm having some good games here in the LDB, but I'm not here to make numbers, but to help my team win," said Felício. Wingers Diego and Chupeta also stood out with 12 and 10 points, respectively. 

The game
Starting off tight, the game turned out better for Mais Querido in the second quarter. After leading by five points (16-14), the red-and-blacks opened up a ten-point lead (44-34). In the third quarter, Mais Querido went seven minutes without conceding a basket and closed with a 71-40 lead. In the following quarter, the team secured a 91-55 victory.

Flamengo remains among the top eight teams that advance to the final octagonal of the competition.
