Clube de Regatas do Flamengo is pleased to announce the signing of Leandro Barbosa, a forward who has played in the NBA and for Flamengo itself. The player joins the roster only for the game against the Orlando Magic, which will be played on October 5th in Florida.

Leandrinho returns to FlaBasquete after seven years. The player was with the club from Gávea in 2011, when he made a brief stint during the NBA off-season. He stayed from August to December and played a few games wearing the sacred jersey.

Barbosa arrived in American basketball in 2003, playing for the Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and Golden State Warriors, where he won a championship. He remained in the United States until last year, when he returned to Brazil and was signed by Franca.
