FlaBasquete put on a very different performance this Wednesday. Unlike their debut, "O Orgulho da Nação" crushed Uruguay's Hebraica Y Macabi 91-57, securing their second consecutive victory in the South American Basketball League. One of the main reasons for the triumph was Marquinhos, who topped the scoreboard with 18 points. For the wing, the team knew how to capitalize on the situation in their debut, and the Uruguayans paid the price. 

"First of all, I'm happy with the win. The team played more freely. Debuts are always difficult. Yesterday's win gave the team a lot of confidence, and today they came out more relaxed, defensively much better, and were able to implement Neto's defensive plan," said Marquinhos, who played 21 minutes. 

For the number 11, his performance in the second match also reflected the end of the usual nerves of a debut. And now, with their teamwork in place, the team can only grow and win more. 

"In the second game, things start to fall into place, the ball starts to fall, and you start to feel confident. I'm happy, but the team still has a lot to improve. We need to play more together, improve our team spirit, but we're happy, and depending on the next game, we could already qualify today," he added. 

FlaBasquete returns to the court this Thursday against the Colombian team Cimarrones. A win will secure qualification.
