American point guard spoke to the Official Website about his excitement about wearing the Sacred Mantle: “I can’t wait”

The Mengão basketball team is taking shape to face the challenges of the upcoming season. After the renewals of coach Gustavo De Conti, captain Olivinha, and Franco Balbi, and the signings of Vitor Faverani, JP Batista, and Brandon Robinson, another foreigner has arrived in Gávea: Dar Tucker.
The American shooting guard spent the last years of his career in Latin America, with stints in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Venezuela. Before joining Flamengo, Tucker played for San Lorenzo in Argentina.
"I'm happy with all the championships we'll be competing in. I'll do my best to help Flamengo win the Intercontinental Cup, the Champions League, and every possible cup. I can't wait to defend the club on the court," said the athlete, who is already speaking with his fellow countryman and friend Brandon Robinson. "I've been talking to him every day about how excited we are to join the Flamengo family," he added.
In the upcoming season, Flamengo will take to the court to defend its Carioca, Super 8, NBB and Champions League titles, as well as seeking its second Intercontinental Cup title, the FIBA Club World Cup.
"I believe it will be one of the biggest challenges of my career because of all the expectations we have for this season and because of our team, which has so much talent. I believe that, by coming together, we will do very well. I hope the red-and-black fans are ready for a very good and fun season. I promise it will be the best! Let's go, Flamengo!" he concluded.
