On an inspired night for Olivinha, Flamengo beats Bauru and is one win away from the semifinals

Focused, José Neto's men prevailed, defeating Bauru 92-73, taking a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series and moving within one win of the semifinals of the New Basketball Brazil (NBB).
From the start, Olivinha showed that the afternoon would be his. With his accurate hand, he helped the Mais Querido finish the quarter with a six-point lead (25-19). The experience of the first game of the series, in Rio de Janeiro, when they also started with a bang, ensured the players didn't let up in the next 10 minutes.
Although Bauru responded with accurate shots from Ricardo Fischer, Olivinha continued to have a calibrated hand, aided by good movement and assists from Marquinhos. The first half ended 45-41 in favor of the Rubro-Negro.
The reigning NBB champion, Flamengo, didn't let their opponent react, kept pressing and finished the third quarter with an 18-point lead (73-55). In the final quarter, with the Rio de Janeiro team dominating, the Bauru team watched the Gávea club increase the lead even further and close out the game at 92-73. Olivinha, the leading scorer of the match with 21 points, also grabbed 11 rebounds and finished with the highest double-double of his career.
