The 2018 NBB All-Star Game is coming! This weekend, some Mais Querido athletes and coach José Neto will represent the NBB Mundo and NBB Brasil teams. During the morning of this Friday (16), Anderson Varejão and Marcelinho participated in a promotional press conference for the event.
Varejão spoke about the moment and the rivalry between the teams.
"It's a special moment for Brazilian basketball. The social activities were really cool, and it's really important to have this contact with the kids. Both Brazil and the world will be there to win, the rivalry exists, but everyone knows that no one wants to get hurt. What really matters is the party, and I hope we can have an unforgettable weekend," he said.
In his last All-Star Game, captain Marcelinho spoke about his participation in the 3-point tournament.
"I even joked with Jefferson (current champion) to let me win, I said it was my last season, my family will be there, I started to get into his mind (laughs). But I told everyone that what I hope is for it to be a very high level competition, that whoever wins will do so by breaking the record and that the final will be 28 to 26, and if I can get 28, even better (laughs)," declared the number 4.
