Marcelinho laments the red-black team's performance and asks for focus on Game 3
Captain commented on the match and the upcoming clash on Monday
By Mariana Sa - inOn Friday night (4), Flamengo hosted Mogi das Cruzes at Arena Carioca 1 and ended up defeated by 88 to 74. After the match, captain Marcelinho Machado spoke to the press in the mixed zone and commented on the match, valid for Game 3 of the semifinal series of Novo Basquete Brasil 10.

"I think it was a continuation of the first game. Our team didn't produce offensively and then tried to score without clarity. We also didn't hit the shots we did have. We gave them too much freedom and needed to defend better to have a chance of winning. We played well below our potential in two games. We need to acknowledge their merit. Now we're looking for a win at home, and we can produce more than we've been doing. Nothing's lost; the only ones who advance are those who win three matches," said the captain.
FlaBasquete returns to the court on Monday (7) for Game 3 of the semifinal series. Needing to win, Mais Querido faces Mogi das Cruzes at 20 pm. Tickets are on sale at: http://guicheweb.com.br/flamengo
