Marcelinho returns to training at Flamengo

After the Brazilian national team's strong performance at the World Cup in Turkey, shooting guard Marcelinho returns to training with Flamengo. The player will be on the court this Tuesday (September 21.09st) with the red-and-black team, which will be training in full for the first time. The training session, starting at 10 a.m. at the HSBC Arena, will be open to the press. On the occasion, Flamengo will also introduce its new signing for the 2010/2011 season, center Átila Santos.
Flamengo debuts in the State Championship next Friday (24.09), against Iguaçu, at 20 pm, at the Municipal Stadium. Next month, the team will still have two other challenges: the South American League and the NBB.
In Tuesday's training session, Flamengo will also have the return of power forwards Jefferson and Wagner, who were with the team when they won the unprecedented bronze medal at the Military Basketball World Cup in Seoul, South Korea.
The players will meet the press after training, around 12 pm.
