Marquinhos, Mineiro and Varejão are called up for World Cup Qualifiers
Athletes will be on Sunday for the games against the Dominican Republic and Canada.

Marquinhos, Rafael Mineiro and Anderson Varejão are in the Brazilian National Team! This Thursday (22), the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB) released the list of 13 players called up by coach Aleksandar Petrovic for the games against the Dominican Republic and Canada, valid for the fifth window of the Qualifiers for the FIBA World Cup 2019. The athletes will report next Sunday.
The match against the Dominican Republic will be held on November 30th at 7:15 PM. Then, on December 3rd, Brazil will face Canada at 8:00 PM. Both matches will take place at the Wlamir Marques multi-sports gymnasium in Corinthians, São Paulo.
The athletes will report on Sunday, November 25th, at the Panamby Guarulhos Hotel, and will train from November 26th to November 30th, the date of their first match against the Dominican Republic.
Currently, the team is in third place in Group F, with six wins and two losses in eight matches. The group also includes Canada, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, and Chile.
