"We started the match with a completely different attitude than on Monday, and also against Joinville, which was one of our objectives. This gave us confidence throughout the game; we were solid defensively, helping each other, and in attack we were always looking for a teammate in a better position. We know that all opponents want to beat Flamengo, and we came here to give our best in every match. We started poorly in the first game, but we found our rhythm. This time we were solid throughout the entire match and managed to maintain that," analyzed Marquinhos.
The winger also spoke about the importance of Argentinian player Balbi to the squad. “Franco is a star. A guy who controls the team's rhythm well, knows how to position the players well, has excellent ball control, and orchestrates plays well. We know he will be a very important player this season,” he praised.
