At the Professor Hugo Ramos gymnasium, Mais Querido was unable to stop the opponent's collective game, debuting in the semifinal series with a negative result. After the match, winger Marquinhos lamented the red-black performance.

"We weren't prepared to fight for every ball; offensively, that wasn't our team's style. Playing like that against a team that defends well and runs fast is costly. The next match has to be very different. We fought throughout the championship to have our fans behind us. Now we have to play better and work hard to emerge victorious," said Marquinhos.

Next Friday (4), Flamengo hosts Mogi at Arena Carioca 1, at 20 pm, for the second game of the semifinal series. “I'm sure our fans will make a difference in Rio, just like theirs did here. They always go above and beyond for us and we'll give back on the court. I'm sure the Arena will be packed and we'll turn the series around,” said the number 11.
