The organizers of the Military World Games took advantage of halftime of the Flamengo vs. Bauru match last Wednesday night in Bauru to unveil the competition's mascot. Created by Maurício de Souza, Arion delighted the children in attendance at the HSBC Arena. The mascots also posed for a photo with president Patrícia Amorim.

Flamengo has three athletes on the Brazilian military basketball team: forwards/centers Jefferson and Wagner and point guard Fred.
