"Grandão", as the irreverent number 55 of Orgulho da Nação likes to be called, spoke about the happiness of having reached a historic milestone in the NBB representing only Flamengo.
"I feel very proud to have reached the milestone of 1,000 points in the NBB wearing only the Manto Sagrado. These three seasons at Mengão were the best of my life and I'm grateful every day for playing for the Biggest in the World," he declared emotionally.
Since arriving at Mais Querido, Meyinsse has won a Liga das Américas, a World Club Championship, two NBB titles, as well as three State Championships, and the nation, which has fallen in love with his grit on the court and his charisma off it. The center commented on his achievements with FlaBasquete.
"I'm happy to have already achieved so much at Flamengo. I've achieved things I never expected and I hope to achieve much more! Count on me, Mengão! Above all, Flamengo!" he concluded.
