In Argentina, Flamengo faces Instituto Córdoba in the first Champions League semifinal

On Monday night (09), at 22 pm, Flamengo and Instituto Córdoba star in another chapter of the historic rivalry in the first leg of the Basketball Champions League semifinal. The game takes place at the Ángel Sandrin gymnasium, the opponent's home. Next Thursday, Mengão will be in charge and tickets are now open for the match at Maracanãzinho, at 19:30 pm.
The red-black team embarked for the Argentine city last Saturday (07). After training on Monday morning, the coach, Gustavo De Conti, analyzed the home team and spoke about the challenges of the match.
"It's a tough game, against a highly skilled opponent with several international players and on a very difficult court to play on. It's a Champions League semifinal, so despite the difficulties, we'll go all out in search of our first win in the series," said the Pride of the Nation coach.
Flamengo and Instituto Córdoba have faced each other twice in the championship, both times with Flamengo winning. The teams debuted in the competition on November 1, 2019, and Instituto Córdoba won 83-75 away from home. The second meeting, on December 20, in Rio de Janeiro, ended 81-76 in favor of Flamengo.
