Flamengo takes to the court this Thursday (October 08.10th) trying to maintain its lead in NBB 4. The red-and-black team faces Joinville, 11th place, at 20 pm, at the opponent's home. Flamengo has five wins in six matches (83,33% success rate), the same as Uberlândia. The Rio de Janeiro team, however, has the better average (tiebreaker criterion): 1,253 against 1,123 for the Minas Gerais team.

In the final round, Flamengo easily defeated Liga Sorocabana, a newcomer to the NBB (National Basketball Association), 93-55. It was Leandrinho's last game before the start of the NBA season. With the end of the American League strike, he had to return to the Toronto Raptors, the team with which he has a contract.
