NBB: Tickets for Flamengo vs Vasco da Gama

Fans of the world's most famous Rio classic can start celebrating. This Saturday, the 18th, online sales begin at 11 a.m. (local time)http://guicheweb.com.br/) of tickets for the game between Flamengo and Vasco, for the second leg of the qualifying phase of the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB), which will take place in Manaus.

Starting Monday (20), tickets can be purchased at four physical locations in the capital of Amazonas, with payment by debit card or cash. The duel takes place on March 11, at 14 pm (Manaus time), at Arena Amadeu Teixeira, located in Loris Cordovil.

The event, supported by the Amazonas State Government through the State Secretariat of Youth, Sports, and Recreation (Sejel), is taking place in Manaus for the first time and will be the second Clássico dos Milhões in the history of the NBB. Of the 10 tickets that will be on sale, 70% will be for Flamengo fans, the home team, and the remaining 30% for Vasco.

Four sections will be available for purchase: upper bleachers (R$40), lower bleachers (R$60), backcourt seats (R$120), and sidecourt seats (R$150). All prices are valid for half-price ticket holders (seniors, seniors, students, and people with disabilities) and the general public with a 1 kg (1.2 lb) non-perishable food item. Those who do not have the food item at the time of purchase will pay the full price. All proceeds will be donated later.

Flamengo's points of sale are at counter 1 of the Amadeu Teixeira Arena, the Official Flamengo Store at the Carrefour in Flores, Adidas at the Sumaúma Shopping Mall (Av. Noel Nutels, 1762 - Cidade Nova) and Adidas at the Ponta Negra Shopping Mall (Av. Coronel Teixeira, 5705). Vasco's physical point of sale will be unique, at counter 2 of the Amadeu Teixeira Arena.

"This is the first time Flamengo will be the home team for the derby, and therefore, the majority of tickets are for the red-and-black fans, as stipulated by rule. Therefore, it's worth noting that Vasco fans in costume will only be entitled to seats in the upper stands, while the rest will be Flamengo's. By contract, ticket sales must begin online within the first two days, and then physical locations will open. We are strictly following the NBB's recommendations and are confident that the event will be a success in our city," said George Fróes, one of the organizers of the game in Manaus.

Those who choose a back or side court seat will be able to participate in special promotions, raffles, meet the players, among other activities that will be offered and announced in advance by the event organizers.

Classic

This is Vasco da Gama's first time participating in the NBB. Flamengo, a five-time champion, is currently tied with Brasília in the lead, while the Giant of the Hill is in seventh place. The teams' standout players are expected to be present for the match in Manaus, including Marcelinho (forward), Marquinhos (forward), and Olivinha (forward) for Flamengo, as well as Drudi (forward), Gaucho (forward), and Hélio (forward) for Vasco.
