Last Saturday (13.06), coach José Neto - state, Brazilian, continental and intercontinental champion for Flamengo and assistant coach of the Brazilian National Team - was one of the professionals invited to the Uruguayan Basketball Federation (FUBB) International Coaches Clinic, at the Defensor Sporting club gym. At the event, which celebrated the institution's centenary, Neto received a plaque in gratitude for his presence as a main participant.

"It was a great experience to be able to share information with coaches from Uruguay and Argentina. The clinic was very interesting, with good content from the coaches of the Uruguayan league finalist teams (Malvin and Trouville), who talked about how they prepared their teams for the final, and also from the coach of the Uruguayan national team," commented Neto.

In addition to Arian Capelli, coach of the Uruguayan National Team, Pablo López, coach of Malvin (champion club of the Uruguayan Basketball League in 2007, 2010, 2014 and 2015) and Álvaro Tito, coach of Trouville (runner-up of the Uruguayan Basketball League in 2007 and 2015), the event was attended by students, federated players, referees, managers, journalists and basketball lovers.
