After an intense campaign by Flamengo fans on the Argentine point guard's profile on a social network, which received a flood of comments with each publication hashtags #FicaNico, the player renewed with the Most Beloved.

The club takes another step toward assembling a competitive roster for next season, when the Rubro-Negro will compete in five major events. In addition to the state and national championships and the League of the Americas, the team kicks off the second half of the year with the Interclub World Cup and two NBA preseason games, a first for a Latin American team.
