Marcelinho and company will head to the Municipal Club gymnasium in Tijuca to face the home team at 20 p.m. in the first leg of the Rio de Janeiro State Basketball Championship final. The current four-time champion, Flamengo, is seeking its fifth consecutive title, the second unbeaten.

Flamengo basketball players Jefferson, Coloneze, Duda, Dedé, and Marcelinho, both on and off the court, were present this Sunday at Maracanã, where the club won its sixth Brazilian soccer championship. "This was a very good and exciting game, as Flamengo came from behind and managed to come back in spectacular fashion, playing good football. Furthermore, the other games were also exciting and brought even more excitement," said Jefferson, who, like the other athletes, watched the game from the stands.

After the celebration, however, it's time to focus on the game later today. Coloneze assures that the team is prepared for the marathon of matches ahead. After all, this Monday the team plays the first game of the State Championship final, on Wednesday the second, and on Saturday they travel to Venezuela, where they will compete in the Liga das Américas.
