After a great participation in the South American Basketball League, Flamengo returns to Rio de Janeiro for three great challenges at Arena Carioca 1. This Tuesday (30), Rubro-Negro receives Mogi das Cruzes, at 20 pm, for Novo Basquete Brasil 11.

In addition to the three wins in Uruguay, Flamengo has had three other positive results in three NBB matches. Undefeated so far, the Flamengo team has beaten Basquete Cearense and Brasília away from home, and also defeated Joinville at the Arena.

Flamengo and Mogi das Cruzes have faced each other 25 times in eleven editions of the Novo Basquete Brasil tournament. Flamengo has won 18 and lost seven times so far.

The São Paulo team is coming off a victory in the competition. In four rounds, they have won three (Paulistano, Basquete Cearense, and Brasília) and lost only one to Pinheiros.

Hey, Marquinhos!
"These are three tough games. The NBB is very difficult, and it's not about playing at home or away; the teams are very similar. We have to focus on our first objective, which is to beat Mogi, a big rival of ours who eliminated us last season. It's a new year, but we maintain this rivalry with them. It's always a great match when we play against them, and we know it will be no different this time. We need to continue what we've been training for: strong defense, moving the ball around, and always trying to find the best position," analyzed Marquinhos.

The coach's word
"Our next three home games are very tough, but that's the NBB's style, and our season is going that way too. There's a lot of travel, a lot of games, and it's a grueling year. But it's worth noting that we don't have any injured players; we're in excellent physical shape and are performing well even with this number of matches. We have to take it one match at a time, just as we have been doing so far. We're fully focused on this match against Mogi, a tough team that reached the finals. The team is a bit overhauled, but it's showing great strength. So we're focusing 100% of our training on them," said Gustavo De Conti.
