In Tijuca, FlaBasquete beats Bauru 92-61 and takes the lead in the NBB semifinals
Gabriel Jaú led the way with 19 points. The Pride of the Nation will now play two consecutive away games.

In the first game of the best-of-five series of the NBB semifinals, FlaBasquete beat Bauru 92-61, on Saturday afternoon (18), at Tijuca Tênis Clube. Gabriel Jaú was the top scorer of the match with 19 points. Didi, with one point less, also deserves to be highlighted. The second game is scheduled for next Tuesday (21), away from home.

1st Bedroom
The match began with both teams studying each other closely, and the score only began to soar after just two minutes. FlaBasquete opened up a 2-point lead early in the game, but the opposing team caught up with Orgulho da Nação. Soon after, Flamengo regained a significant lead, which remained at 7-28 until the end of the quarter.
2st Bedroom
Gabriel Jaú started the quarter with two points, and Flamengo capitalized on their opponents' mistakes to maintain the pressure. Six minutes in, Devon Scott found a beautiful pass to Olivinha, who scored two points and earned a free kick to further excite the Tijuca crowd. From that point on, Flamengo added six more points and closed the second quarter with a 6-47 score.
3st Bedroom
Flamengo returned from halftime scoring twice again through Gabriel Jaú, further advancing in the third quarter. Jaú himself was the standout performer with ten points, and he was instrumental in opening up a twenty-point lead. The third quarter ended 69-50 for the Pride of the Nation.
4st Bedroom
The final quarter started off slower, with Flamengo scoring four early points, but not much until the fifth minute, when Olivinha scored two points that gave FlaBasquete a lead. The Pride of the Nation began scoring point after point, eventually creating a 36-point lead. The final quarter ended 92-61.
Next challenge
FlaBasquete returns to the court next Tuesday (21) for the second game against Bauru, at 19:30 pm, at Ginásio Panela de Pressão, for the NBB semifinal.
