Ending 2024 with a victory, FlaBasquete defeated Mogi das Cruzes 81-60 on Sunday morning (29), at Maracanãzinho. After a tight start to the game, the Pride of the Nation imposed its rhythm on the court and controlled the actions in the remaining three quarters. Shaq Johnson was the highlight of the match with 28 points scored, breaking his record wearing the Sacred Mantle.

Mengão's first points of the game came from Alexey, who drove into the paint, scored, and was then fouled, converting the bonus free throw. The score was low early in the match due to some offensive errors by both teams. On the court, Balbi received an open ball at the three-point line and hit the shot. The Pride of the Nation closed the period with a 19-11 lead.

In the final quarter, the Pride of the Nation continued to control the action, preventing any reaction from Mogi. Shaq Johnson continued to be the standout performer for the red-and-black team. Jordan Williams thrived in the final period, converting his points. Without a scare, FlaBasquete closed the game 81-60 and ended 2024 with a victory in the NBB.
