Vitor Faverani reached a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Túlio da Silva was the red-and-black team's top scorer with 15 points. Yago (10), JP Batista (10), Robinson (10) and Tucker (11) also reached double figures in scoring.

The game
Fortaleza took the lead, but soon began the traditional flurry of three-pointers from Olivinha, Brandon Robinson, and Dar Tucker. Túlio da Silva came on strong, scoring six points. Before the whistle signaled the end of the first quarter, Faverani dunked beautifully, sending the crowd into the gymnasium: 26-15 for the "Mais Querido" (Most Beloved).

The second period began with a comeback from the opponent, who took an 11-4 lead in the fourth quarter. Then it was Flamengo's turn to assert themselves, closing the gap in the quarter, and maintaining the lead gained in the first period. The team went into halftime leading 42-33.

In the third quarter, Yago, Mineiro, Robinson, and Luke extended their lead from outside the perimeter, and Túlio wowed the nation with some incredibly plastic dunks. The quarter was evenly matched, but Mengão held the lead (26-21), heading into the final ten minutes with a commanding 68-54 lead.

In the fourth quarter, Mengão came out on top, taking an 11-2 lead. Center JP Batista excelled on offense, scoring six points. Faverani achieved a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. The victory was almost a century old: 91-74.
