After suffering a sprain in his right knee in the match against Minas last night, in the Champions League, Franco Balbi underwent imaging tests, this Wednesday (10), which confirmed ligament injury. The indication is for surgical treatment.

The point guard is expected to return to the court in six to eight months.

"I'm discouraged, but injuries, unfortunately, are part of the sport. Now I need to focus on my recovery, and I know I can count on the support of the entire team at this time," said the athlete. 

Balbi has already started pre-operative physiotherapy treatment.
