Gui Deodato remains with Pride of the Nation for 24/25. One of the team's standouts, the shooting guard is entering his third season wearing red and black.

The Flamengo and Brazilian national team player has a rich history in Brazilian basketball. A NBB champion and two-time Super 8 champion, Gui joined Flamengo in 22/23 and quickly demonstrated that this would be a successful partnership. Last season, he had one of the greatest performances of his career against Paulistano in the Copa Super 8 semifinal, scoring 34 points en route to Flamengo's third consecutive championship. In the NBB, Gui was named the best winger in the competition, averaging 12.4 points per game and a 12.9 efficiency rating.

Back in Gávea, the number 1 left a message for the Nation.

"We'll be together for another season, and I'm extremely happy about that. It's always a pleasure to represent the greatest of all. We'll have no shortage of effort, grit, and determination to achieve all the titles. See you soon," said the red-and-black batman.

Gui Deodato joins Franco Balbi, Alexey Borges and Shaq Johnson as confirmed names for the 24/25 FlaBasquete season.
