The point guard, who was MVP of both the Super 8 Cup and the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCLA), remains a key figure in the Pride of the Nation.
In his first year with the Sacred Mantle, Alexey demonstrated personality, leadership, and efficiency in decisive moments. With brilliant performances, he led Flamengo to the Super 8 and BCLA titles, securing the Rubro-Negro's return to the Intercontinental Cup.
Beyond his technical impact, the point guard also won over the nation with his dedication on the court and his in-tune with the team's style of play. Now, with greater chemistry and significant challenges ahead, Alexey remains at the helm of the red-and-black guard, ready to help Mengão in another season full of objectives.
Alexey celebrated his continued presence at the club and projected another year of achievements. "I'm very happy to be heading into another season with Flamengo. The first was already very successful, and the expectation now is to prepare even more to have an even better season. I know the strength of our squad and believe we'll arrive very strong in all competitions," said the point guard.
The point guard joins Ruan Miranda, Gui Deodato and Jhonatan Luz in the 25/26 FlaBasquete season.
