Therefore, the Pride of the Nation went to Ceará for the Rio-Northeast Basketball Super Four. On Monday afternoon (26), the Rubro-Negro beat Vitória by 76 to 52 in the final score at the Arena do Centro de Formação Olímpica, in Fortaleza. Center Olivinha commented on the match.
"We didn't have a very good first half, but in the second we improved and managed to set a good pace, opening up a big lead. We also got our defense right, especially in the third quarter, where, if I'm not mistaken, we only conceded 7 points, and that helped us a lot throughout the game," analyzes Flabasquete's #16.
FlaBasquete's standout performance against Vitória included Marcelinho Machado, who scored 13 points and set the game's leading scorer, and JP Batista, who also excelled yesterday against Vasco.
