Olivinha guarantees total dedication to victories in the LDA
One of the remaining players from the 2014 title, the power forward is banking on the strength of his training to go in search of a second title.

With nine consecutive victories in the New Basketball Brazil (NBB), FlaBasquete embarked this Tuesday (26.01) to seek the title of the League of the Americas. The Most Beloved is in Group C in the first phase, which takes place between January 29th and 31st in Panama. The 2014 champions have several remaining players from that title, such as power forward Olivinha, who sees the team as strong for both competitions this year.
"Despite the roster changes, the philosophy of Neto, Falcão, and the entire coaching staff remains the same. We're working very hard, focused on two competitions (LDA and NBB). We travel today to the Liga das Américas, and our group has very good opponents. We'll do our best to leave there with good victories," he stated.
In addition to FlaBasquete, three more Brazilian teams are among the 16 participating teams: Mogi, Bauru and Brasília. The debut will be against Argentina's GE Comodoro, at 21:15 pm (Brasília time), next Friday (29.01). Also in Group C are LPB Panamá and Eagles Tunja (COL).
Understand the format:
1st Phase: Qualifying
All against all within their respective groups. The top two finishers in each group will qualify for the next stage.
2nd Phase: Quarterfinals
The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four teams each, called groups "E" and "F." Two quadrangulars will be held and the top two teams from each quadrangular will advance to the next phase.
3rd Phase: Semifinal Stage

1st of group "F" x 2nd of group "E"
4th Phase: Final Four
The winners of the semifinal stage compete for the League of the Americas title and the losers of the semifinal stage compete for the bronze medal.
