Flabasquete takes to the court this Friday (November 07.11th) for its second match in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). The game takes place in Sorocaba at 20 pm against the home team, Liga Sorocabana. After a great duel in its debut, the Pride of the Nation will seek its second victory in the competition facing another great opponent.

 

The red-and-black team's first match in the competition was against Paulistano. Despite falling behind, Flabasquete turned the game around in the third quarter, with a spectacular comeback in a tightly contested match. The next challenge will also be against a team from São Paulo, which promises to play hard to secure its second victory in the competition. "It will be a match against a very courageous team, coming off a strong debut against Macaé, which they beat by 20 points. We are prepared to withstand their intensity to put on a good performance and continue winning in this early NBB season," said the red-and-black team's coach, José Neto.

In the 2013/2014 NBB season, Flamengo and Liga Sorocabana faced each other twice. Both times, Orgulho da Nação emerged victorious by scores of 95-72 and 98-79.
