Tickets for the FIBA ​​Intercontinental Cup are now on sale

MIES (Switzerland) - Tickets for the FIBA ​​International Cup are now available, the highly anticipated four-team competition will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from February 15-17.
 
There are two types of entries:
- The daily ticket, valid for one of the two match days (Friday or Sunday)
- The global ticket, which gives access to the four games played on both days
 
The daily ticket costs between US$9 USD (35 reais) and US$35 USD (130 reais), while general ticket is for sale for a price of between US$15 USD (60 reais) to US$52 USD (200 reais).
 
 
The four teams occupying the court at Arena Carioca 1 - the historic venue for the 2016 Olympic Basketball Tournament - are the 2018 NBA G League champions, the Austin Spurs; the Basketball Champions League winners, AEK (Greece); the DIRECTV Liga de las Américas champions, San Lorenzo de Almagro (Argentina); and the tournament hosts, Flamengo, which is the Brazilian team that most recently won both the DIRECTV Liga de las Américas and the FIBA ​​Intercontinental Cup in the same year (2014).
 
FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis said: "We are extremely pleased to launch ticket sales for the FIBA ​​Intercontinental Cup, which will begin in just over two weeks. The affordable prices reflect our desire for the tournament to be held in front of a huge audience, with the presence of all Flamengo fans, as well as fans from Rio de Janeiro and abroad."
 
The tournament will be held in a four-final format, with two semi-finals on February 15, followed two days later by the third-place match and the final.
 
The semifinals on Friday will be between San Lorenzo and AEK, and between Flamengo and Austin.
