Pecos highlights goal achieved and team growth

The point guard is full of praise at the end of the third match in the South American League

Point guard Arthur Pecos is a perfect fit for Flamengo. Insinuating, bold, and daring, the "little guy" invades the paint when needed, serves his teammates, and shoots—a lot. In the 80-70 victory over Cimarrones del Choco this Thursday, which secured first place in Group A of the South American Basketball League, the number 23 scored nine points and served his teammates three times in 22 minutes on the court. Marked heavily, Pecos provoked fouls from his opponents, which undermined the Colombian team's defense. After the game, the point guard spoke about another victory.

"I'm very happy with today's victory and qualification. We came to Colombia with this goal: to qualify in first place. And also to grow as a team. We saw what we can do. We still have a lot to improve, but now we have to keep working towards the next stage of the South American and the season," said Pecos.

FlaBasquete returns to Rio this Friday for training and upcoming matches.
