The final stage of the Flamengo national basketball selection process ended today at the Hélio Mauricio Gymnasium in Gávea.

The selection process approved 29 of the 171 registered athletes. Among those selected are boys and young people from various regions, including states such as the Federal District, Rio Grande do Norte, Amazonas, and Rio Grande do Sul, among others.

According to basketball supervisor André Guimarães, Flamengo's idea is to encourage young players to play the sport and revamp the club's youth academy.
