Wednesday morning (19) was the inauguration in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro. The sixth basketball center of the social project of the Sempre Flamengo Sports School was established at the Fábrica do Saber Municipal School and officially launched this week. More than 100 children and teenagers will gain places on the teams.

With the presence of municipal and state authorities, as well as representatives of Mais Querido, the school's students were able to watch the presentation of the uniforms and a presentation game, as well as enjoy time with Flamengo's official mascot, the King Vulture.

The initiative was a partnership between Flamengo and the City of Petrópolis, through the Municipal Institute of Culture and Sports, and the Department of Youth Sports and Leisure.

The Sempre Flamengo Sports School is part of Flamengo's initiative to seek out new talent in various sports offered by the club. By uncovering and developing players, the project aims to educate citizens and discover athletes for the Mais Querido's youth teams.

Classes at the Sempre Flamengo Sports Schools (EESF) contribute to the development of better citizens and future athletes who may represent the Mais Querido, in addition to promoting integration among students of all ages. If you would like your child to participate in any of the Sempre Flamengo Sports School classes, please contact the club's secretary at 2159-0154. EESF students can become Contributing Members even if they are minors, granting them the right to attend the club even on non-class days.
