Hakeem Rollins joined Flamengo in January and has already been making a name for himself on the court. Competing for a spot in the 2017 All-Star Game, the American has played seven games for the NBB CAIXA and averages 23.4 minutes per game, along with 7.6 points and 5.7 rebounds.

Still adapting to the New Basketball Brazil, Rollins highlighted the difference between Brazilian and Argentine athletes, where he played for three seasons. "So far, what stands out most is the size and athleticism of the players. The forwards and centers are much bigger than those who play in Argentina," he commented.

Hakeem also discussed his role in the rotation of José Neto's team. "My role on this team is to be a versatile defender at the basket and on the perimeter if we rotate. On offense, I try to set up good plays and create space for the point guards."
