Flamengo boys entered the court and did well

The Flamengo youth (under-19) basketball team defeated Vasco 64-57 last Wednesday (May 03.05rd) in the fourth round of the State Championship for the category. With this result, the team remains undefeated in the competition and will face Tijuca Tênis Clube next Wednesday (May 09.05th) at 20 pm in Tijuca.
The youth (under-13) and junior (under-17) categories also took to the court last weekend for the State Championship and faced Tijuca. The junior team defeated their opponent 60-53 and maintained their undefeated record in the championship. The top scorer of the match was Flamengo's Julio Duval with 20 points. The youth team, however, did not have the same luck and suffered their first defeat in the competition: 78-64.
The youth team returns to action in the State Championship on Saturday (May 05.05th), against Iguaçu BC, in Nova Iguaçu, at 14 pm. The junior team plays next Saturday (May 12.05th), against Vasco, at 11 am, in Gávea.
