Flamengo will have five representatives in the NBB All-Star Games, which will be played this Saturday (10.03), at 10 am, at the Pedrocão Gymnasium, in Franca (SP). TV Globo will broadcast live. Wing Marcelinho and center Caio Torres will be on the NBB Brazil team, while Argentine Kammerichs and American David Jackson will be part of the NBB World team, which will be led by coach Gonzalo Garcia.

In an election held on the National Basketball League (LNB) website, center Kammerichs was chosen to be one of the five starters for the foreign team, with 37,7% of the vote. The team that will take the court will also include Larry Taylor (Bauru), Shamell (Pinheiros), Sowell (Franca), and Jeff Agba (Bauru). On the bench will be Jackson (Flamengo), Borders (Minas), Figueroa (Pinheiros), Robert Day (Uberlândia), Robby Collun (Uberlândia), Araujo (Paulistano), and Toyloy (Limeira).

Flamengo captain Marcelinho will also start for the NBB Brazil team. He was the third most voted winger, but inherited the spot from Marquinhos (Pinheiros) who is injured. The other starters will be Fúlvio (São José), Alex (Brasília), Guilherme Giovannoni (Brasília), and Murilo (São José). Completing the team are Fischer (Bauru), Victor Benite (Limeira), Nezinho (Brasília), Arthur (Brasília), Caio Torres (Flamengo), and Olivinha (Pinheiros).

"This is my first time participating in this event, and I'm very excited. The game is a huge celebration, but of course, in the final quarter, no one wants to lose, and everyone will play for real," explained Kammerichs.
