Two Flamengo players are competing for spots on the NBB (New Basketball Brazil) team of the season. Marcelinho is nominated among the forwards and Teichmann among the pivots. The team selection will take place this Tuesday (May 31.05st), during the awards ceremony for the best of the competition, in São Paulo.

Marcelinho is competing for one of the two wing spots with Alex (Brasília), Marquinhos (Pinheiros), Robert Day (Uberlândia), Robby Collum (Uberlândia) and Shamell (Pinheiros). Teichmann will have as "opponents" Guilherme Giovannoni (Brasília), Jeff Agba (Bauru), Murillo (São José), Olivinha (Pinheiros) and Tischer (Brasília).

Captain Rubro-negro, Marcelinho will also receive the competition's top scorer trophy.
