Rubro-negros in the Rio de Janeiro under-19 basketball team
Five athletes and two coaches were called up
By Media Relations - inFive athletes and two members of the coaching staff of Flamengo's under-19 (youth) basketball team were called up this Thursday (04.08) for the Rio de Janeiro team that will compete in the Brazilian Championship in the category. The competition will be held between August 14th and 21st, in Anápolis, Goiânia.
\Marcelo Ruediger, Felipe Ranieri, Rodrigo Lopes, Ricardo Padilha, and Robert Dias will represent the Red-Blacks on the national team. The Rio de Janeiro team will also feature U-19 coach Marcus Higino and U-17 coach Leonardo Bruno.
\The team's first training session will be held this Saturday (06.08), at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium, in Gávea, at 14:30 pm.
\For the State Championship, the junior (under-13), children's (under-15) and youth (under-19) teams will face ABEQT this Saturday (06.08) in Teresópolis. The matches will be played at 11 am, 12:30 pm and 14 pm, respectively. Flamengo is in first place in the overall standings in all categories. The children's (under-17) team takes to the court next Monday (08.08) at 20 pm, against Botafogo, in General Severiano.
