Four athletes and José Neto represent Flamengo in the team preparing for the Copa América

With the participation of four Flamengo players and José Neto, as assistant coach, the Brazilian basketball team debuted this Sunday (23.08) in the Tuto Marchand Cup. Facing the home team, Puerto Rico, Brazil ended up defeated by 79 to 66.
Center Batista, who recently signed with Mais Querido, led the way with 19 points. Also participating in the game were the red-and-blacks Marquinhos, Olivinha, and Rafael Luz.
Brazil will also face Canada, Argentina, and the Dominican Republic until August 27.08th. The World Cup is played in a single round, with all teams facing each other, and the team with the most points wins the title. Immediately afterward, the national team travels to Mexico City, where they will compete in the Copa América from August 31st to September 12th.
