On Wednesday night (08), in an electrifying and exciting game, Flamengo beat Pinheiros, 78 to 75, and secured a spot in the grand final of the Super 8 Cup. Argentine Franco Balbi dictated the pace of the duel and was the top scorer with 22 points. Marquinhos, author of 17, was another highlight.
THE DEPARTURE
Encouraged by the nation, who showed up and supported them from the start, the Mais Querido (Most Beloved) put on a stunning performance in the first quarter. With beautiful plays from Balbi, Marquinhos, and Rafael Mineiro, the team opened up a strong lead: 23-13.
