The National Basketball League (LBN) highlights on its website, the Território LBN blog, a tribute to one of the greatest names in Brazilian basketball, former coach Ary Vidal. Last Friday, November 6th, during halftime of the Flamengo vs. Saldanha da Gama game, the Flamengo players and coaching staff presented Vidal with a plaque in honor of his services to Brazilian basketball and Flamengo. The plaque was signed by the club's president, Marcio Braga.

Director of the red-black basketball team in the last NBB title, Vidal was moved by the tribute, he said in an interview with the official website, still on the court at the HSBC Arena.
