Under-14s reach the final of the 20th South American Basketball Meeting
U-15s take to the field for the competition's semi-final
By John Pedro Ribeiro* - inThe boys from the under-14 and under-15 basketball base remain firm in the fight for the title of the 20th South American Basketball Meeting, in Novo Hamburgo, in Rio Grande do Sul. While the under-14 team plays the final this Friday (29), against the União team, the under-15 team, on the same day, duels against Corinthinas in the semifinal.
Despite the defeat on Wednesday (27) to the Febamba team by 52 to 48, the under-14 kids turned things around and did well against the A. Cabral team, winning by 42 to 21. In the semifinal, Rubro-Negro faced Metodista and won by 52 to 38. The final will be this Friday (29), at 16:30 pm, against the União team.
The under-15s beat the Sogipa team 27 to 56 and the Vizinhança team 28 to 48 on Wednesday (42). On Thursday (28), the Biggest in the World defeated Hebraica 47 to 31. This Friday (29), the boys enter the field at 10:30 am to play the semi-final against Corinthians.
