Last Wednesday (21), the Under-15 and Under-17 teams of Mais Querido debuted in the best way in the State Basketball Championship. In matches held in Gávea, against Botafogo and Abig/Instituto Nautt'Ilus, respectively, the performance was 100% success. 

In the first game of the day, the U-15s won the derby against Genenal Severiano's team by a score of 58-42. Miguel Victor, known as Miguelzinho, was the match's top scorer with 12 points. Soon after, the U-17s put on an extraordinary performance, defeating Abig/Instituto Nautt'Ilus 97-14. Magno and Matheus Macaé, with 14 points each, were the game's top scorers. Joãozinho (13 points), Felipe (12 points), Ruan (12 points), and Elias (12 points) also stood out and contributed to the great victory for the red-and-blacks. 

The next matches for both categories will be intense rivalries. The U-15 group will travel to São Januário to face Vasco da Gama on March 23rd at 15:30 pm. The U-17 group will host Fluminense on April 9th ​​at 19 pm at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium in Gávea.
