The Mais Querido U-17 team achieved another impressive result in the State Basketball Championship. Facing Municipal, in Gávea, the Rubro-Negro team won 58-37 and maintained its unbeaten streak. With standout performances from Matheus Macaé, Joãozinho, Igor, and Matheusão, particularly on rebounds and defense, FlaBasquete secured its eleventh consecutive victory in the tournament. "We played very well on offense, but we need to improve our finishing. I really liked the team's defensive performance, which limited the opposing team to just 37 points," said Beegu. 

Flamengo is the clear leader of the table and boasts the best attack and defense in the competition so far. The Garotos da Gávea U-17 team's next match in the State Championship will be on August 1st, at São Januário, in the derby against Vasco da Gama.
