Flamengo's basketball team had a different afternoon this Tuesday (21.12). In the last days of training in 2010, the team participated in a water aerobics class at the club's pool, in Gávea.
"We're entering a transition phase, where we're reducing the training load. To ensure the players don't lose their fitness, we're doing other activities, like water aerobics," said the team's fitness coach, Rafael Bernardelli.
This Wednesday (22.12), players and coaching staff will visit the children's wing of INCA (National Cancer Institute), starting at 10 am. They will take gifts and the six-time Rio de Janeiro champion trophy, won last week.
