In the midst of preparations for the first challenges of the 2012/2013 season, Flamengo's basketball players participated in a lecture on doping, on the evening of last Tuesday (04.09), in the Rogério Steinberg auditorium, in Gávea.

The lecture, given by Dr. Bruno Borges da Fonseca, CBF's regional anti-doping control coordinator, aimed to clarify questions from players and the coaching staff on the subject.

Flamengo's first challenge of the season will be the State Championship, at the end of the month, but the date has not yet been set. After that, the team will compete in the first phase of the South American League in October and the NBB, starting in November.
