The third quarter saw a comeback from Pinheiros. Leading 24-16 at the end of the period, the São Paulo team closed the gap and made the game tense.
But in the final period, even with the opponent's comeback that reduced the lead to one point, Flamengo prevailed. Marquinhos scored 12 points in the last quarter and secured the third victory for the red-and-black team.

"We've always had this winning mentality to maintain the result, even in the tightest moments. Our team has mature players, some very young, but very mature, and that makes all the difference on the court," Marcelinho analyzed.
