Having qualified for the New Basketball Brazil (NBB) playoffs with four rounds to spare, Flamengo is preparing for another trip. This time, the team will travel to Ceará, where they will face Basquete Cearense. This will be the final game in the championship's qualifying phase before the round of 16.

"Ceará is a team that plays very intensely. They have a strong defense and an attack with players who excel in both mid-range and long-range shooting and inside play. They are highly motivated by the playoff race, and being the home team, their motivation is even greater. We are prepared to face these strong opponents and we count on the support of the red-and-black fans who always support us in the Northeast," analyzed coach José Neto.

Last Tuesday (April 01.04st), Flamengo traveled to their opponent's home ground to face Mogi das Cruzes. The match began with both teams hitting their stride offensively. Marquinhos and Meyinsse were Flamengo's standout performers in the first quarter. With the three-pointers falling, Mogi grew on the court and took the lead during the second quarter. The lead held in the third quarter until Flamengo fought back, closing in on their opponent, falling just three points behind: 72 to 69. Flamengo's pressure continued until the end, but Mogi ultimately won: 94 to 90.
